Denso Iridium Spark Plug

Denso's new hi-performance spark plug utilizes iridium for its center electrode, a material six times harder and eight times stronger than platinum.  Denso created the world's smallest center electrode tip (a mere 0.4mm) for maximum firing performance and reduced voltage saturation.  A special tapered tip on the U-grooved ground strap contains the spark inside the gap, enabling it to develop into a hotter flash front for improved combustion.
