The Audi S4 4.2L V8 engine is already a precision-tuned instrument, factory rated at 340hp peak power and 302 ft-lbs peak torque at the flywheel.  With its normally aspirated 11:1 compression, NEUSPEED engineers approached their software modifications cautiously.  The NEUSPEED P-Chip features an optimized ignition timing map which improves throttle tip-in response and provides modest HP and torque gains. 

We are currently seeing gains of 5-6HP at the wheels between 6500-7000rpm, and torque gains of approximately 6 ft-lbs at 3500rpm.
